How to delete your data
One email. No form and no charge. We verify which records are in scope, identify any legal exception, and give you the deletion timetable in writing. You do not have to explain why.
What happens
- You send the email. Tell us the email address you contacted us from, and — if you connected a social account — the Facebook Page or Instagram handle.
- We acknowledge the request. We verify your identity where needed and tell you which relevant records we found.
- We delete records under our control. We first check legal-retention exceptions, then confirm the completion timetable and result in writing.
- We disclose backup treatment. End-to-end automatic backup expiry has not yet been verified, so the pilot does not promise a fixed 90-day backup deadline.
Facebook and Instagram data specifically
If you connected a Facebook Page or Instagram Business account, there are two separate things, and you may want both:
| Action | What it does | How |
|---|---|---|
| Revoke access | Stops us reaching your account from now on. Immediate. | Facebook → Settings & Privacy → Settings → Business Integrations → remove Mythika. You do not need us for this. |
| Delete stored data | Removes what we already hold — account identifiers and post performance metrics. | Email us using the link above. |
Revoking access alone stops future access but does not erase what is already stored. If you want both, do the first and email us for the second.
What we cannot delete
Two honest exceptions, stated rather than buried:
- Financial records. Invoices and payment records are kept as long as tax law requires. We cannot delete these on request, and neither can any other business.
- Work already published. If we published a post to your own social account, that post belongs to your account. Deleting our records does not remove it — you delete it from your own account, and you can do so at any time.
Other records within the verified request scope are deleted after those exceptions are checked.
If you are not a client
If you emailed once and never worked with us, we hold your message and your email address, and nothing else. Automatic enquiry expiry is not yet implemented; ask for deletion and the manual process above applies.
